Speakers of the House

The Picturesque  When your home decorating project requires a compromise between form and function, consider Samsung’s The Frame TV. Switching between television and artwork, it’s ideal in more formal rooms where versatility is key. Children’s Meeting House Annual Auction and Event

Quelle belle soirée—perfectly describing Spring en Provence, CMH Montessori School’s annual fundraiser and event. A rustic and romantic gala, April 13 found guests enjoying the glorious grounds of the Marmalade Lilly, along with a decadent dinner and live auction (always competitive!). As usual, the most coveted items of the night were the stunning works of art handmade by each class.

Prominent members of the community took the mound to throw out first pitches, an honor (and challenge?) that included Bob Johnson of Mathnasium and Judge Heather Russell.

Cappy’s Brews for a Cure

Serious fundraising and serious fun went hand-in-hand at Cappy’s event benefiting JDRF and T1 Diabetes research. Hundreds enjoyed the all-day fundraiser (and the glorious weather), from the food to the libations to the chance to win numerous beer-riffic prizes—including an all-inclusive trip to an exclusive beer fest in Wyoming. All told, the event raised an astounding $4,000+!

Do you gaze upon weedy grass and an aging deck and imagine that you have a gorgeous hardscaped patio, pergola, fire pit or barbecue, a la Clark Griswold peering out his kitchen window in Christmas Vacation? Or do you look out to find the patio you’ve always wanted, finished to…
