A rustic and romantic gala, April 13 found guests enjoying the glorious grounds of the Marmalade Lilly, along with a decadent dinner and live auction (always competitive!). As usual, the most coveted items of the night were the stunning works of art handmade by each class.

Prominent members of the community took the mound to throw out first pitches, an honor (and challenge?) that included Bob Johnson of Mathnasium and Judge Heather Russell.
Serious fundraising and serious fun went hand-in-hand at Cappy’s event benefiting JDRF and T1 Diabetes research. Hundreds enjoyed the all-day fundraiser (and the glorious weather), from the food to the libations to the chance to win numerous beer-riffic prizes—including an all-inclusive trip to an exclusive beer fest in Wyoming. All told, the event raised an astounding $4,000+!
